About Me
My career has been driven by a long-standing fascination with technology and, increasingly, by a particular interest in cyber security, vulnerabilities, threat intelligence and the techniques used by adversaries to exploit technology.
I started my working life in a DIY store, before moving into increasingly complex technical environments and eventually working with some of the world’s leading technology and cyber security organisations, including IBM, AppSense, Fujitsu, UK-CERT/NCSC, Proofpoint and CrowdStrike. These experiences have given me exposure to both the underlying technologies that organisations depend upon and the security threats that can be used to compromise them.
Over time, my focus has evolved from infrastructure and virtualisation into cyber security, vulnerability research, malware analysis, threat intelligence and adversary behaviour.
I currently work at Sublime Security, continuing to work within the cyber security industry and expanding my experience across modern email security, threat detection and intelligence-led defence.
I’m particularly interested in security research and vulnerability discovery, and have disclosed a number of security issues over the course of my career.
